“Summer’s going fast, nights growing colder
Children growing up, old friends growing older
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger…”
– Rush, Time Stand Still
Time, there never seems to be enough of it. If you’re like me, you make lists of all the things you want to accomplish on any given day, week, month. At the start of each year there are lists of projects to complete, places to travel to, books to read. Next thing you know, the year is over! As I get older, time seems to move even faster. I recently reached my twenty year anniversary at work, and it made me think of all the accomplishments and changes that have happened in my life over the last two decades. There is still so much more I want to do and so many places I want to travel to, but I also realize that it is so important to take time to just stand still and appreciate what you have in this moment, and the people you share that moment with.
Time for a cup of tea.
Time to stop and smell the roses.
Time to relax.
Time for a coffee break.
Time for a road trip.
Time to see the world.
Time to play with pets.
Time to listen to music.
Time to drink wine with friends.
Time to work less and live more.
Time to find the time.
